2011 REPORT

Due to everyone's enthusiasm for either XC or SJ, it was virtually impossible to schedule dressage in the a.m., but Linda came to the rescue around 1:00 p.m. and those who still had the energy booked a school in the indoor school.

Thanks to Curtis and Anita for conducting the XC schools. Scott was great as ring crew, as I was having trouble bending over (bruised ribs still aching) to set the fences in the sand ring.

Everyone I talked to enjoyed the day, and wanted to return next year.

We raised just under $1,000. for the Event Riders Benevolent Fund.

Thanks again to Anita, Curtis, Linda and Scott for their invaluable assistance.

"Thank you for another great time at your facility. It was an amazing introduction for a young horse."
Sabrina Welter

2010 REPORT

2010, Ride for Riders hosted a small, but enthusiastic group of 'first timers' at Pommele Acres, the home of our Training Centre.

Everyone had a great time (or so they said) and want to come back to school XC again!
Suzanne Welsh did a great job in teaching the dressage portion of the clinic, teaching from 10:00am through to 2:00pm and our very own Arthur Tateishi taught stadium from 10:00am to 12:00pm & XC until 3:00pm. We raised $600.00 for our Event Rider's Benevolent Fund,

"Thanks to Suzanne, Ralph, and Aleck for making the property look inviting and ensuring that everyone was welcome" ~ Arthur Tateishi

"We all learned so much ....Thanks for not laughing at me! lol" ~ Erica Dale

"Arthur Tateishi and Suzanne Welsh coaching...Best clinic ever!!" ~ Jakki Warkentin

"Thank you so much to you and Suzanne for putting on this clinic. It was a wonderful learning experience and I had so much fun! I know the low numbers were not great for you, but as someone participating, it made for a very relaxed and fun atmosphere. I know we have already been talking about XC schooling again sometime in the near future" ~ Kirstyn Herzog
