Over 100 enthusiastic Eventers convened in Hawkestone on Saturday 31 August for one of the Sports' most popular "events",
RIDE FOR RIDERS 2004. Fear of a washout as a result of torrential rain in the GTA, Hawkestone was blessed with glorious sun and exceptional coaching opportunities. With our Olympic Team Athletes sequestered in Training Camp, the best and brightest of Ontario's Coaches rose to the occasion to teach the weather defiant attendees in all
three disciplines of dressage, cross country and stadium jumping.Glen Oro and Grandview Farms in Hawkestone, ON generously hosted the one day marathon of
mounted educational sessions organized by the Directors and Volunteers of Eventing Canada[!] Riders and clinicians from across the province converged at the adjacent farms in Hawkestone.
Perfect weather conditions and unbridled enthusiasm from all participants ensured a most positive educational experience.
