GUIDELINES FOR 2013 CHARITABLE DONATIONS

EVENTING CANADA [!] is recognized by Revenue Canada as an Amateur Athletic Association.
It is registered under 88721 5275 RR0001.

The Association is in a position to provide tax creditable receipts for unconditional, non-directed donations which support the Association's mandate to develop the sport of Three Day Event and Horse Trials in Canada.

Organizers and Provincial Associations can use the National Association's charitable status to solicit cash donations from individuals and corporations.

Long, Short and Talent Identified Athletes, Young Riders and dedicated Amateurs, who qualify for Eventing Canada [!] funding, can seek financial support from non-family individuals and arm’s length corporations.

All cash donations are eligible for charitable donation receipts for 100% of the contribution.  Please note that a letter must accompany the donation, confirming that the donation is made with no conditions, or directions.  The Athlete Development Committee of Eventing Canada [!] will assess the request and determine to which Athletes or programs a portion of the funds will be disbursed.

For several years, Eventing Canada [!] has been fortunate to receive donations of several talented event prospects.  These Horses have all qualified by their potential at upper level competition with designated Athletes in our sport.
